GT4 Synerion Swift – Buzzer/Bell schedule configuration

In order to create or adjust the buzzer or bell schedule directly from the clock, follow these steps:

  1. Access the clock by using a clock supervisor level account
  2. On the Supervisor menu, select Exit App to restart the device
  3. As the device restarts and the GT4 logo is displayed with a progress bar, press the F8 button at the bottom right of the screen
  4. When prompted, enter the supervisor PIN
  5. In the Terminal Setup menu, select Application
    • The user can navigate using the arrow buttons below the screen
    • Selections can be made using the checkmark button
  6. In the Application menu, select Setup (Synerion Agile)
  7. Select Relay Schedules by pressing the F2 button
  8. In the Configure relay schedules menu, select Configure relay times using the arrow buttons and the checkmark button
    • The number of existing relay schedules is shown in brackets to the right
  9. Select Add relay time using the arrow buttons and the checkmark button
  10. On the Enter relay on time menu, set the time to the time the buzzer or bell should start ringing (example: 7:00:00am)
    • Use the keypad or the arrow buttons below the screen to set the relay on time
    • Times should be set using 24h time (7:00:00pm = 19:00:00)
  11. Click Next (F8)
  12. On the Enter relay off time menu, set the time to the time the buzzer or bell should stop ringing (example: 7:00:05am if the buzzer or bell should ring for five (5) seconds.)  Adjust the ‘Off Time’ as needed based on your requirements
    • Use the keypad or the arrow buttons below the screen to set the relay off time
    • Times should be set using 24h time (7:00:05pm = 19:00:05)
  13. Click Next (F8)
  14. On the Select the day(s) of week menu, select the days of the week this schedule should apply to using the arrow buttons and the checkmark button to select/deselect the days of the week
  15. Press the F5 button to navigate to the next screen
  16. On the Select the relay to control menu, select the IO board and relay that is connected to the clock (typically IO board 1 relay 1)
  17. Click the checkmark button to finish
  18. Review the configured relay schedule, and use the F7 button to Cancel, F4 button to go Back, or F8 button (Next) to save the schedule
  19. Create the rest of the schedule by repeating steps 9 through 18

Relay Times can not be modified – if a change is required, the schedule needs to be deleted and recreated with the proper configuration.

Relay Time schedules can be deleted by selecting the relay schedule from the menu and clicking Delete.
