{"id":2822,"date":"2024-08-07T17:14:26","date_gmt":"2024-08-07T17:14:26","guid":{"rendered":"\/agile\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=2822"},"modified":"2025-06-02T13:20:58","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T13:20:58","slug":"signoff-page-overview","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"\/agile\/knowledge-base\/signoff-page-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Signoff page- Overview\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Navigate to the Period Signoff screen using the menu on the left side of the screen&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the final layer of approval needed before exporting data to the payroll program.&nbsp; An employee\u2019s pay period must be signed off before their data can be exported to the payroll program&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, all employees visible to the user will be displayed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The previous pay period will be automatically selected&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can move to the previous or next pay period by using the arrows to the left and right of the selected pay period&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can select a different pay period by clicking on the currently selected pay period and using the dropdown menu&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, all time category groups will be selected&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can display specific time category groups by using the dropdown menu&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See only Unsigned employee records by using the <strong>Unsigned Only<\/strong> slider&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once one or multiple employees have been selected using the checkbox on the left side of the employee list, the <strong>Sign Off button<\/strong> on the top right will be available to sign off on the selected employee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"743\" src=\"\/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2824\" srcset=\"\/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22.png 1600w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-300x139.png 300w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-1024x476.png 1024w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-768x357.png 768w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-50x23.png 50w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-1536x713.png 1536w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-60x28.png 60w, \/agile\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/image-22-100x46.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If there is an error in the employee\u2019s timecard for that period, the checkbox to select them will be greyed out (it is not possible to sign off on a pay period that contains an error).&nbsp; Clicking on the employee&#8217;s name will display the selected pay period for that employee in the Timecard screen where any errors or exceptions can be dealt with before signing off&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Totals and amounts paid are shown for each employee&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only time categories that have transactions this period are shown&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Typically, the supervisor is responsible for signing off on their employee\u2019s pay period&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If doing daily edits, there should be very little to do here&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Signing off shows the username of the user who signed off, and date\/time stamp.
