Users can use the messaging feature on MSS web, ESS web , and MSS &amp; ESS Mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong><em>: <\/em><em>Message Center feature for ESS &amp; MSS Mobile is documented in \u201cMobile 1.5.0\u201d documentation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>User can<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Send a message to MSS or ESS user<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send a message to multiple users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send a message to departments and teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark messages as read &amp; unread<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive absence accept\/reject messages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reply, reply to all, and forward the message<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get an alert email notification for any incoming messages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search a message via recipient name or subject<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color has-background\"><strong>User will can not<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be able to send a message to <strong>System users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive any messages for absence requests, schedule changes or schedule published\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Absence Requests Accept\/Reject:<\/strong> MSS user will not receive any absence request messages in the messaging feature. However, user can still see employee absences on the Home Page (under Employee Absences tab). When MSS user accepts\/rejects the absences with or without notes, approver can see the message in their Message Center\u2019s sent tab. It will fetch the messages related to the search and display to the user.
