{"id":3367,"date":"2024-08-16T18:34:09","date_gmt":"2024-08-16T18:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"\/agile\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=3367"},"modified":"2025-08-14T14:30:49","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T14:30:49","slug":"mss-schedule-availability","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"\/agile\/knowledge-base\/mss-schedule-availability\/","title":{"rendered":"MSS Schedule Availability- Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Schedule availability allows the MSS users to specify the availability preferences of ESS employees for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a single day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>week cycle preference<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>future cycle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This helps the MSS user to assign the schedules based on the employee&#8217;s availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NOTE<\/em><\/strong><em>: <\/em><em>Schedule availability is for employee\u2019s availability information only and will not block a user from assigning a schedule to an employee.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Permission<\/strong>: FeaturesScheduling Availability&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#0303ab\"><strong>Specify the availability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>MSS user can specify the availability for an ESS employee via the Schedules page. To specify the availability:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on \u201cSchedules\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select an employee from the employee picker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to a date MSS user wants to specify availability&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on 3&nbsp; dots (\u2026) appearing within the cell. (Click in the cell to view the 3 dots icon)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on \u201cSpecify Availability\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A side drawer will open where user can specify availability preferences of an employee. Side drawer will show 2&nbsp; tabs \u2013 Single day, Recurring cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NOTE<\/em><\/strong><em>: :<\/em><em> To add preferences for a future cycle, navigate to the \u201cRecurring Cycle\u201d tab and Click on the \u201cAdd Cycle\u201d button.
