\n This option allows user to perform mass edit of various employee profile edits such as updating default department, default job, default absence, holiday schedule, benefit package, work rule, period selection, active status, part time, export to payroll, and updating the public user text. Each setting has their own permissions.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required Base Permission:<\/strong> vEmployeePublic-Edit and FeatureEmployee Profile General\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: If user doesn’t have either of the above permissions, radio button \u201cUpdate Employee Profile settings will be disabled.<\/em><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update Default Department<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\n To update default department,\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Click on Admin menu on left-side dashboard
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on Mass Edits
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the option \u2013 Update Employee Profile Settings
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select employee(s) from the employee selector picker

  5. Once Employees are selected, user will see \u201cDefault Department\u201d option is selected by default in Change Type.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Select the Department name from the Department drop down

  7. Click on Next once department is selected

  8. Confirm the information on the confirmation dialog and click on \u201csubmit\u201d

  9. When user clicks on Submit, it will show the Undo Action bar. If user wants to cancel the mass edit of update default department, user can click on \u201cundo\u201d. Otherwise, do not click on it.

  10. It will show success toast message and update the default department to the selected department for the selected employees.

    Update Default Job<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Required Permission:<\/strong> FeatureJob Costing \/ Employee Profile \u2013 Show Default Job <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    NOTE: If user is missing either of the above permissions, option \u201cDefault Job\u201d will be hidden in the change type drop down.<\/em><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n To update default job,\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on Admin menu on left-side dashboard

    2. Click on Mass Edits
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select the option \u2013 Update Employee Profile Settings

    4. Select employee(s) from the employee selector picker

          6. From the drop down select \u201cHoliday Schedule\u201d
