\n Punch Definitions page allows MSS user to view the created punches, add new punches, edit and delete the punches.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required Permission:<\/strong> FeaturePunch Definitions\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Punch Definitions Grid View<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n On Punch definitions page, user can view the created punch definition\u2019s description, Inbound, Function, As BB (Break Begin), As BE (Break End), As Out Punch, Hidden checkboxes and Actions with 2 options \u2013 Edit and Delete. At the bottom, user will see a button \u201cAdd Punch Definition\u201d\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add Punch Definition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\n To add the punch definition,\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Click on Admin menu on left-side dashboard
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on Configuration Page
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on Punch Definitions
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on \u201c+ Add Punch Definitions<\/strong>\u201d

  5. A new active row will appear

    <\/figure><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Enter Description, Inbound, and Function value (these 3 are mandatory fields)<\/em><\/strong>

  7. User can leave the other fields in the row empty
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Click on \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. It will show the success toast message and refreshes the grid and populates the newly added punch definition.

    NOTE: Description, Inbound, and Function fields are mandatory. User will get an error if tries to save the punch definitions without adding info to these 3 fields<\/em><\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Edit Punch Definition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    \n To edit the punch definition,\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Click on Admin menu on left-side dashboard
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click on Configuration Page
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on Punch Definitions menu
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Click on the 3-dot icon in the actions column for the punch definition user wants to edit
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Click on \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d

    6. It will enable the row for user to edit

    7. Click on \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d once edits are done

    8. It will show the success toast message and refreshes the grid with updated information.

      NOTE: User is not allowed to save the edited punch definition if description, or inbound, or function fields are empty. <\/em><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Delete Punch Definition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      \n To delete the punch definition,\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. Click on Admin menu on left-side dashboard
        <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click on Configuration Page
        <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click on Punch Definitions menu
        <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click on the 3-dot icon in the actions column for the punch definition user wants to delete
        <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Click on \u201cDelete<\/strong>\u201d

      6. Click on \u201cDelete\u201d <\/strong>appearing on confirmation dialog
