Step 1 – To add a new employee click the Quick Add Button<\/h3>\n

Step 2 – Enter in their first and last name<\/h3>\n

Step 3 – Enter their employee code (this should be unique for each employee, and should match the employee code or number from your payroll system)<\/h3>\n

Step 4 – If you\u2019re using a Hand Punch clock, web punch, finger print scanner, or PIN system, keep the \u201cuse as badge\u201d checked<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Step 5 – If you\u2019re using a physical swipe card or proximity fob terminal, uncheck \u201cuse as badge\u201d and select or enter the number of the card or fob you are giving to your employee<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Step 6 – Enter the employee\u2019s hire date, and select their home department<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Step 9 – Select the appropriate pay period configuration, holiday schedule, and accruals package<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Other default values: If you\u2019re system is using Timesheets, Labour Levels, or Job Costing, you should also select the default values for your employee. Export to Payroll: If you have temp or agency employees, who get paid from another source, you could select No here.
