Step 1 – If the employee has hours in a different category, simply change the absence category. Otherwise, to give the employee more hours, put a checkmark in the row.<\/h3>\n

Step 3 – A window with the employee\u2019s accrual balances will pop up. Select the type of time they are trying to use.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Step 6 – In the Amount field, add the number of hours you\u2019d like to add to the employee’s balance<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Step 8 – Close the pop up window to return to the Timecard Editor<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This error occurs when an employee has run out of hours for the specific type of absence they are trying to use. There are basically two solutions to this: use a different type of absence, or give them more hours.
