11.11 Release notes

Scheduling Availability Enhancements

  • Show Availability in Employee Schedules Grid 1
    • New “Availability” toggle button to hide/show employee availability in the scheduling screen
      • Note: Availability will only display when the employee has explicitly set his availability and there is no schedule for that day
  • “Infer” Availability Mode
    • An employee will be either available or not available for each day (defined on Scheduling Availability page)
    • When there’s no availability is defined on a day, it assumes the employee is available
    • Assumes the remaining time as the inverse of what’s defined.
    • For example:
      • Suppose an employee defines 7 – 15 as Available on Monday, he/she is assumed unavailable outside of that zone (0 – 7 and 15 – 23:59)
    • Enabled by default for new and upgraded customers

Note: “Infer” availability currently doesn’t support overnight shifts

  • Improved Availability Overlap Textbox in the shift assignment window
    • Designed to make it easier to see employee availability when assigning a new shift

  • Ability to Effective Date Availability 1

    • Also supported in availability overrides
    • Default to “All Day” when no start/end times are supplied

1 Only supported in the new “Infer” availability mode
