How to fix a duplicate punch

Step 1 – Select the row and look at the punch window, note the incorrect punch(es).

Often you will see duplicate punch and missing punch together. This happens if the employee punched IN twice, instead of punching IN and OUT (or vice versa). The duplicate punch is shown because there are two INs and the missing punch indicates there is a missing OUT punch. By changing the incorrect IN to an OUT punch, both errors are corrected.
