April 2026 Release is a special pre-release focused on infrastructure enhancements and foundational updates. This release introduces TCDAY Retro, enabling the export of retroactive TCDAY updates to payroll, including both job changes and/or pay-category changes.
In addition, the release introduces several important infrastructure enhancements, such as extended API endpoints, updates to the new mobile and enhancements to the Reports Infrastructure, which replaces the legacy Import/Export utility.
As part of this transition, April 2026 will be the final release supported in 32-bit. All releases thereafter will be available exclusively in 64-bit.
Important Notices
Features that introduce default behavioral changes
- Block non-API users for API – Effective this release, only users flagged as API users (SS_USERS_EXTENDED.IsApiUser=1) are permitted to access Synerion API. As a result, any user not marked as API users will be blocked. Support may receive incidents such as Import failure which indicate security validation failure. To minimize impact, cloud users using Import APIs were updated however export APIs (“Get”) were not addressed and so does On Premise customers.
- Enable Deleting retroactive requests when disabled in SYSCNF – Many customers repeatedly contact support to request a temporary configuration change that allow deletion of retroactive absences request. To reduce this support efforts, the default behavior has been changed to allow managers delete retroactive absence requests, even when this option is disabled.
- Mobile Location indicator after midnight not displayed in the proper date – The issues was treated as a design bug and was fixed so the punch location will appear in the relevant date.
- Remove Legacy TKXML from code – The legacy QDDSAP Employee import has been withdrawn from maintenance. Customers that have not yet migrated to MA/API will no longer be able to use this import method. This is another step towards a pure 64-bit environment.
